Mostly loose ambient from my tape deck, usually with little more to start with than a vague concept - "oh, I'll use my loop pedal in this way" or "what if I used the Octatrack to re-sample a scratched CD?" I guess that makes these works conceptual, and I guess that makes this a concept album. Shit. This wasn't supposed to happen!

Evan Pincus plays stringed instruments (tenor guitar primarily), synthesizers, samplers, free-reed aerophones (shruti box) and any other sonic bits-and-bobs that have gotten lost in the shuffle. He also operates the tape deck. Recorded at The Bird's Nest from 2021-23 (if not earlier - a few of the tracks are undated)
